Fuel surcharges are a standard in the industry and are calculated on a monthly basis.
The Fuel surcharge is calculated on Diesel only based on current usage of fleet & linehaul vehicles.
The Fuel surcharge is calculated at 0.33% for every R0.10 fluctuation in combined pump price of petrol and diesel. The adjustment will be made to the nearest R0.10. The fluctuation of the surcharge each month will depend on the government announced, Energy and Mineral Affairs confirmed fuel prices which are effective from the first Wednesday of every month.
International Currency Surcharges
Are charged on all international shipments including Cross Border roadfreight and are calculated at a rate of 7.5%, which cover currency fluctuations during the shipment process.
