Bags, Parcel Stickers and Pre-printed waybills

ICExpress ships all consignments on waybills which are able to be tracked on our website, or simply by e-mailing or calling our logistics division.
We supply pre-printed waybills (consignment notes), personalised with your company information, preventing repetitive admin.
We also supply flyer bags, packaging stickers, waybill socks all as a complimentary value added service.
Larger packaging is available on request.

Weight Calculations


Shipments are based on Volumetric or actual weight, whichever is the greater . Consignments are rounded up to the nearest half kilogram or kilogram, depending on which of the services is selected.
For air or road, volumetric calculations are in cm: Length X Breadth X Height (cm) divided by 5000.
Whichever is the greatest of the two is what is used for billing.
 

Dangerous Goods

It is the responsibility of the shipper of the goods to ensure that the goods are not dangerous or hazardous for carriage by air. There are various IATA regulations for international and domestics governing the transport of dangerous goods and you are urged to ensure that your despatch staff are totally aware, and adhere to all these regulations.
Should there be any doubt as to whether your shipment will be classified as dangerous or hazardous, or is a restricted article, please contact our office for advice. Any goods classified as dangerous or hazardous for carriage by air must be brought to ICExpress's attention.
Should you require the IATA approved packaging, ICExpress will assist you with this.
Rates for dangerous / hazardous goods are always quoted separately.

Shipment Restrictions

There are certain items that are prohibited and will not be accepted for courier shipments: animals, plants, foodstuffs, perishables, dry ice, firearms or weaponry, negotiable documents (cash, coins, travellers cheques, bonds, currency, drafts, etc), valuables (jewellery, diamonds, gold, etc).
There may be other commodities that are applicable to certain international destinations. If in doubt, please contact our office.

Fragile Shipments

Whilst all consignments are treated extremely carefully, where a consignment needs special handling, i.e, fragile, please advise us so that we can accomodate this requirement.
